• Quad-core i5-7500T: A 7th-gen quad-core processor with 8GB RAM handles Teams Rooms, video and screen-share smoothly.
• Integrated audio: Built-in speakers and microphone array capture and play the room without extra hardware for smaller spaces.
• 128GB SSD: Fast solid-state storage for quick boot and reliable always-on operation.
• Enterprise connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and HDMI for room cameras and displays.

Performance in Use

The ThinkSmart Hub 500 turns a meeting room into a certified Microsoft Teams Rooms space. Its distinctive rotating 11.6" Full HD touchscreen is dual-sided, so whoever is nearest can drive the call — join, add participants, share content or control room hardware — without passing a remote around. The Core i5-7500T and 8GB RAM give it the headroom to run the Teams Rooms experience with live video and screen sharing at once.

Built-in speakers and a microphone array make it a self-contained solution for huddle rooms and smaller meeting spaces, while HDMI and USB let you connect a room display and a Teams-certified camera for larger boardrooms. For IT teams, the Hub 500 is centrally managed through the Microsoft Teams Admin Centre and Lenovo device tools, keeping always-on room deployments consistent and up to date.

With its 128GB SSD and locked-down Windows 10 IoT Enterprise build, it boots quickly and stays reliable in daily use. It's an economical way to standardise conference rooms on certified Teams hardware.

Yes — a Microsoft Teams Rooms (or equivalent M365 room) licence is required for full functionality. Your Microsoft partner or IT admin can advise.

Can I use it as a normal Windows PC?

It runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise in a locked-down Teams Rooms configuration and is optimised for that role rather than general-purpose computing.
